Preparation
- Butter an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, add Rice Krispies and toss with 1 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Set aside.
Cooking
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until almost melted, leaving a few lumps for gooey texture.
- Remove the pot from heat and quickly stir in the cereal until well coated.
- Using a buttered spatula or wax paper, evenly press the mixture into the buttered pan.
- Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top as desired and allow to cool before cutting and serving.
Notes
These treats store well at room temperature for up to 3 days in an airtight container. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months. Avoid refrigeration to maintain texture.
