  • 1 package Frozen pierogi (your choice of flavor)
  • 1 pound Turkey sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups Chicken broth Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream or plant-based cream substitute
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 medium Onion, diced
Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika Smoked paprika can be added for a hint of smoke.

Cooking
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add sliced turkey sausage and cook until browned.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream (or plant-based substitute); stir to combine.
  4. Gently add frozen pierogi to the skillet, cover with a lid, and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until heated through.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika to taste; stir well before serving hot.

Notes

Serve hot straight from the pan. Add a green salad or steamed green beans for a balanced meal. Can store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
