Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients
  

For the meat sauce
  • 1 pound ground beef Brown well for best flavor.
  • 1 can (24 oz) pasta sauce Use your favorite jarred pasta sauce.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Optional, for added flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning For enhanced flavor in the sauce.
For the lasagna layers
  • 1 package (25 oz) frozen cheese ravioli No need to thaw before using.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese Layer under and over the ravioli.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For added flavor.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Use for topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in pasta sauce, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. In a greased slow cooker, spread a thin layer of the meat sauce.
Layering
  1. Layer half of the frozen ravioli over the sauce.
  2. Top with half of the remaining meat sauce and half of each cheese.
  3. Repeat layers, finishing with cheese on top.
Cooking
  1. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until heated through and cheese is melted.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Serve with a green salad or garlic bread. Offers grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes for customization.
