Ingredients
  

Salad Ingredients
  • 4 cups kale, chopped finely Remove tough stems
  • 2 cups brussels sprouts, finely shredded
  • 1 block garlic bread cheese, cubed Can substitute with feta or halloumi
  • 1 cup rosemary cashews, roughly chopped Can substitute with toasted almonds or pecans
  • 1 to 2 large honeycrisp apples Toss with lemon juice to prevent browning
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup vegetable oil Use a neutral oil with a high smoke point
  • 4 pieces shallots, thinly sliced
  • 1 bottle Salad Girl Crisp Apple Maple dressing Or dressing of choice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop kale and brussels sprouts. Store in containers for meal prep.
  2. Chop apples and toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.
Frying Shallots
  1. Fry shallots in oil in a skillet until golden and crispy, or microwave them in oil until light golden.
Browning Cheese
  1. Cube and fry garlic bread cheese in a nonstick skillet over medium heat until golden brown.
Assembly
  1. Toss kale, brussels sprouts, apples, cashews, shallots, cheese, and dressing together for a delicious salad.

Notes

Serve salad chilled or at room temperature. Optionally garnish with whole rosemary cashews and a thin apple fan for presentation. Store components separately to maintain freshness.
