Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions; drain.
- In a skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- In a large bowl, mix sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and half of the cheese.
- Combine the cooked noodles and beef mixture with the sour cream mixture.
Baking
- Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
