  • 2 cups diced pears Select firm pears to avoid mushy texture.
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds Add last to prevent excess juice.
  • 1 cup chopped oranges Remove membrane for a better taste.
Nuts and Dressing
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts Toast for enhanced flavor.
  • 1/4 cup honey Warm gently; do not boil.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Use pure extract for better flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced apples, pears, pomegranate seeds, chopped oranges, and walnut pieces.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the honey over low heat until warm.
  3. Add the ground cinnamon and vanilla extract to the honey and stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the warm honey dressing over the fruit salad and gently toss to coat.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
